Virginia Beach, Virginia - The 39th annual East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) will host the Tidewater Striders' 5K race in conjunction with the annual beach sports and entertainment festival at the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

ECSC 5K RACE

5th Street Oceanfront - Virginia Beach, VA
Date/Time:
Saturday, August 25th, race begins at 8 a.m.
Entry Fee:
Early registration - $12 per runner (postmarked by August 15th)
Late registration - $15 per runner (after August 15th)
Entries accepted up to 7:30 a.m., August 25th
Registration tables will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 24th at the ECSC Manpower tent at 6th Street on the Oceanfront. Registration is limited to first 700 runners. REGISTER EARLY.
Included:
All runners receive ECSC 5K tank top shirt, refreshments and door prizes after the race
Teams:
Registration $10 per team member (all must be submitted in same envelope)
Military, 3-5 runners, only fastest time scored
Coed, 4 runners (2 male, 2 female), combined time scored
No team entries or substitutions allowed on race day.
