VIRGINIA BEACH, VA -- What’s a classic American beach party without a good old fashion swimsuit contest?
Fortunately, the 45th annual East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) has such a swimsuit contest – two actually – so everything’s cool.

This year, Livelinks and Croc’s Shoes will sponsor the swimsuit contests, offering women 18 years and older a chance to strut the stuff Mother Nature gave them or to show off the results of the health club membership their “ex” boyfriend gave them last Christmas.

The Miss ECSC Swimsuit Contest is one of the most-anticipated events during the entire ECSC weekend, and consists of events on two days -- a preliminary pageant on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. and the Miss ECSC finals, Sunday at 3 p.m., right before the Awards Ceremony on the main stage at 5th Street.

The Miss ECSC Swimsuit Contest is limited to 25 participants. First place prize is $1,000; second place is $500; and third place is $250. All women will win some promotional prizes and each contestant will be given a free pair of Crocs shoes (which they’ll wear on stage in competition).
